The four-year Program of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and two-year Diploma Course of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). PCI is a statutory body of Government of India established to regulate pharmacy education in the country for the purpose of registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, and to practice the practice of pharmacy in the country.
B. Pharmacy Course is recognized by and affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur (HP)— a State University established with the objectives for value creation and welfare in society through technical education and training, research, innovation, public and private sector consultancy, entrepreneurship, continuing education programmes, autonomous Colleges/Institution and affiliating constituent and private Colleges/Institutions.
D. Phamacy Course is recognized by and affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board Dharmshala (HP) – established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh under the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board Act, 1986 (Act No.14 of 1986). The Board Conducts examinations of Affiliated Polytechnics/Technical Institutes & ITIs.
Establishment of the Gautam College of Pharmacy Hamirpur for conducting different courses of Pharmacy has duly been allowed by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Technical Education Vocational and Industrial Training.
