Introduction

The SC/ST Committee is a dedicated body established to address and advocate for the rights and well-being of students, faculty, and staff belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) within the college. The committee serves as a platform for addressing issues related to social discrimination, promoting inclusivity, and creating a supportive and equitable environment for all members of the college community. Our aim is to empower and uplift individuals from marginalized communities, raise awareness about their concerns, and provide support and guidance to ensure their holistic development.

Objective

The primary objective of the SC/ST Committee is to promote social equality, prevent discrimination, and address issues related to the welfare, dignity, and rights of students, faculty, and staff belonging to SC and ST communities within the college campus. The committee aims to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where individuals from marginalized backgrounds can thrive, excel, and contribute to the overall academic and social fabric of the institution.

Roles and Responsibilities

By fulfilling these roles and responsibilities, the SC/ST Committee plays a crucial role in advocating for social equality, supporting the well-being of individuals from marginalized communities, and fostering a respectful and inclusive college community.
